Dr. Drew Rosen is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) at the University of Edinburgh in Physics Education Research. There he works as part of the Edinburgh Physics Education Research Group.
He completed his Ph.D. in Science Education at Stony Brook University and holds a graduate certificate in Science Communication from the Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science. Before arriving in Edinburgh, Drew was a post-doc at the University of Maine studying student reasoning in physics.
In addition to his work in Physics Education Research, Drew is a passionate science communicator including doing public talks and writing for programs like PBS Space Time. When Drew is not doing physics, he is hunting for antiquarian books and illustration art. He has also taken up photography to go along with his oil painting hobby.
